ARCMAN Robot and PORTABLE welding solutions impress executives

HOUSTON — Last week, we wrapped up the annual KOBELCO North America Executive Meeting, and Houston had the honor of hosting. This is one of the most significant annual events for the KOBELCO group companies in North America, bringing together top executives—including representatives from Kobe Steel, Ltd. headquarters. This year’s meeting welcomed over 40 participants from 17 group companies.
On Day 1 (August 18), discussions focused on the current business environment and key strategic initiatives.
On Day 2 (August 19), participants toured several group companies:
* Kobelco Compressors America, Inc.
* Kobelco Construction Machinery USA, Inc.
* Kobelco Welding of America, Inc.
A highlight of the visit was at Kobelco Welding of America, Inc., where executives witnessed live demonstrations of the ARCMAN Robot and PORTABLE welding solutions. The demonstration left a strong impression—especially when one of the executives took the opportunity to operate the equipment personally.
This meeting not only reinforced the unity and shared vision of the KOBELCO group but also showcased the innovation and capabilities of our North American operations.
